NOVICE LOCAL LEAGUE
The Novice No.2 team got their first win of the season last week, with a hard fought 3-0 win over Waterloo No.4. Charlie F. got the shutout, while Olivia K., and Josie P. (2) picked up the goals.
The Novice No.1 team put forth a valiant effort against the undefeated Twin Centre’s 1 on Monday, Nov 14. The final score of 2-1 in favor of Twin Centre represents how tight this game was. Numerous breakaways, shots on goal and grinding it out in the corners made this the most exciting game yet this season.
The Novice's sole goal was scored by Jocelyn Armstrong, assisted by Allison Bendict, and a tremendous performance between the pipes was given by Jacobi Barrnet.
Novice No.1 exerted a team effort and every player contributed to Saturday's 7-2 victory against Wilmot 1. The defense were united and created a wall that made it hard for the other team to get through.
All the forwards played their positions very well. Jenny got her first goal of the season and Megan scored her first three goals of the season. Other goals were scored by Brianna and Chelsea. Keep up the great passing and team work girls.

With only 10 skaters on Nov. 12, it took a balanced offense and a stingy defense to shut out Oakville 5-0. Five different scorers bulged the twine and a couple of timely saves by Alexa Milne, led the Mustangs to victory.
On Nov. 19 Kate Mabey stepped up and took over the role of goalie, and the rest of the team put forth a very determined effort against an improved Stratford team.
