Fireworks over the Centre Wellington Sportsplex in Fergus finished local July 1 celebrations that began in Elora with the traditional pancake breakfast, soap box derby and parade. Clear skies and no threat of rain for the first time in a couple of years brought big crowds out to watch the fireworks.
