The Café Crêperie is sponsoring a Rock'n'Roll benefit for the Centre Wellington Food Bank next week.
Come out for an evening of classic rock and roll at the Elora Legion on Friday, Jan. 20 with the Barefoot Boogie Band, and warm up on the dance floor with music from the 1960s and '70s.
A third of all proceeds will go directly to the food bank, and people can also bring donations of non-perishable food items to the show.
"For many of our community's most vulnerable, organizations like the Centre Wellington Food Bank provide an essential service. With financial strain hitting closer and closer to home, and winter upon us, these services need our help more than ever," writes Elaina Alicandri of the Café Crêperie in an email.
Guests are invited to dine first at the Café Crêperie on Mill Street West in Elora before the show.
Tickets are available through the Café - drop in at 40 Mill St. West, call 519-846-1618 or email cafecreperie.elora@gmail.com.
