Following a brief struggle with cancer on Saturday, Oct. 31st, 2009 with his girls by his side, Ian MacKenzie of Elora, formerly of Cambridge, in his 66th year. Loving father of Meg MacKenzie of Guelph, Kirsten MacKenzie of Elora and Molly MacKenzie of Florida. Loved grandfather of Evans and Oscar. Ian will be loved and remembered by a host of friends. The family will receive their friends at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 37 Church St., Elora, from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 4., followed by a memorial service that will be held in the chapel the same evening at 8 p.m. The family will also be having a life celebration that will be held at the Elora Royal Canadian Legion in Elora on Fri., Nov. 6 from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. Remembrances to the World Vision or the Groves Hospital C.T. BENHAM, Henry Griffith
On Oct. 30, 2009, Henry Griffith Benham of St. Albert previously of Fergus, Ont. passed away at the age of 78 years at the Sturgeon General Hospital with his family by his side. Henry is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy; children: Linda (Doug) and Lois (David); grandchildren: Christine, Stephanie, Tyler, Alanna and Warren; and numerous family. He is predeceased by his brothers: Robert and Bruce. Friends who wish to pay their last respects, may do so at St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Dr., St. Albert on Nov. 6 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Braeside Presbyterian Church, 6 Bernard Dr., St. Albert on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 1 p.m. with Reverend Connie Lee.
